More than a photograph.

Your box includes the photograph, signed by the photographer, a serialized hologram, a matching number Certificate of Authenticity, a photo story, and a handwritten thank you note. All items are carefully packaged using acid-free materials.

What’s in the box

  • Standard-size prints

Standard-size photographs come in an easy-fold mailer. Each photo is carefully stored in a crystal clear plastic sleeve to help protect against dust and fingerprints during handling.

  • Authenticated

The photographer authenticates all photographs, detailing the name, medium used, artwork size, and production date. This certificate can be adhered securely to the back of your print or saved.

  • There’s a story

Behind every image produced by Harry Garcia, there is a story to be told. Each photograph comes with an individual account recounting the day of the shoot. A footnote details the more technical aspect of the image: camera and lens used, as well as the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed.

  • Oversize prints

Oversize prints (13x19”+) are shipped rolled inside a protective triangular tube to ensure safe delivery. The package also includes a pair of archival gloves, which helps facilitate the handling of the image and prevent finger oils from contacting your photograph.

About Harry Garcia

"Underwater photography is about capturing a solemn moment of simplicity and beauty”.

I started scuba diving when I was 17 years old, long before I got my driving license. While studying and working as a graphic designer, I saved enough money to buy my first underwater 35mm film camera: a Sea & Sea MX10. Inspired by television series like The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau, John Stoneman's 'Last Frontier' and Mutual of Omaha' Wild Kingdom', I felt compelled to, not only experience diving in my house reefs in Puerto Rico but also to photograph and film what I saw underwater and share it with others. My enthusiasm for underwater photography got the attention of several dive shops that wanted me to photograph some of their dive trips and courses for promotional purposes. This opportunity brought me into professional diving, becoming a PADI Open Water Instructor in 1996.

My life as a professional designer allowed me to combine my passion for underwater photography, and graphic design, producing a wide variety of collateral materials for numerous local and international organizations, like NOAA, Virgin Islands Board of Tourism, Puerto Rico Tourism Company, and others.

Since then, I’m set out on a journey to discover the grand show of nature's underwater seascapes through the art of fine-print photography and I invite you to come along.

"It’s not about the photo; it’s about the quest. It’s about capturing a solemn moment of simplicity and beauty”.

Living far from the warm Caribbean waters doesn’t keep Harry away from his beloved coral reefs. In between trips, he spends his time selecting, processing, and printing photographs in his home studio while planning his next underwater photo safari.
